Madam Kartumu Boakai is the wife of President Joseph Boakai. She hails from Bomi County and has been the first lady in developmental initiatives nationwide.
From this backdrop, a blog (SPY Liberia ) posted on Facebook, that First Lady Kartumu Boakai has built a High School (Secondary) in Sinoe.
The claim made on April 27, 2025, accumulated 2.5k reactions, 362 comments, and 130 shares. Citizens in the comment session argued that the information was false, while others applauded the first lady for the initiative. The mixed reactions led DUBAWA to conduct a fact-check. 
Verification
DUBAWA conducted an AI probability check on the image used in the claim to ascertain whether AI manufactured it. The probability check, done using Illuminatry, revealed that the image has a 78.6% AI probability. This shows that the content is AI-generated.
In further verification, DUBAWA contacted the office of the First Lady regarding the allegation. Mr. Varner Holmes from the office of First Lady Kartumu Boakai told DUBAWA that the allegation wasn’t true. He noted that the content must have been AI-generated.
