{"id":5106,"date":"2020-06-02T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-02T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dubawa.org\/dir\/?page_id=5106"},"modified":"2023-01-12T16:36:26","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T15:36:26","slug":"call-for-applications","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dubawa.org\/dir\/call-for-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Applications"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Applications are open!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID), through its project, DUBAWA, invites applications from journalists based in Nigeria to a two-day non-residential training.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training aims to build journalists&#8217; capacity in digital journalism skills, verification, and fact-checking and forms part of CJID\/DUBAWA&#8217;s mandate of advancing democracy through accountability journalism.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project&#8217;s primary targets are journalists working full-time in Rivers and Kano state newsrooms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants must be willing to commute daily to designated central points (in Port Harcourt and Kano) for the two-day training.
