Nigerian students who have been affected pay attention to this influx of information to know what is next for their future. Hence the need for DUBAWA to fact-check this claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Verification<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DUBAWA carried out a keyword search on the internet to verify this claim.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We <a href=\"https:\/\/nairametrics.com\/2022\/06\/18\/asuu-says-talks-with-fg-progressing-smoothly-at-an-advanced-stage\/?amp=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">found<\/a> that ASUU has made progress in its talks with the federal government. Also, we found a news article by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/amp\/s\/www.vanguardngr.com\/2022\/06\/strike-we-are-waiting-for-govts-reply-to-our-presentation-asuu-2\/amp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vanguard<\/a> that ASUU currently awaits the reply of the federal government to the union&#8217;s presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DUBAWA also found a news report by Business Day where the federal government <a href=\"https:\/\/businessday.ng\/amp\/news\/article\/asuu-strike-more-complicated-than-nigerians-think-fg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> that the &#8220;ASUU Strike is more complicated than Nigerians think&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, another <a href=\"https:\/\/punchng.com\/were-not-beggars-hunger-wont-force-us-to-resume-asuu-tells-fg\/?amp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> showed the stance of ASUU on the strike.
