Few days after DUBAWA\u2019s fact check on a claim that Steve Harvey was in Nigeria, a Facebook page and blog sharing the information have deleted the news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The post had earlier claimed<\/a> that Mr Harvey, a popular American TV Host and comedian, arrived in Nigeria on Saturday to support the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a fact check from DUBAWA<\/a> revealed that neither did the 65-year-old comedian show up in Nigeria, nor did he demonstrate support for Mr Peter Obi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before DUBAWA\u2019s fact check, a Facebook page<\/a> had used the news to gather more than 13, 000 reactions; 3, 000 comments and 959 comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We recently attempted to check the page to ascertain how far the news has spread, only to discover that the post had been deleted<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, a click on the blog to check the existence of the post now redirect users to the homepage after briefly displaying \u201cPage not found\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further attempts to search for the Keyword \u201cSteve Harvey\u201d was also futile as no report on the blog is focused on the American.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
