CLAIM: An X user, Nwa (<\/strong>@nwaadaz<\/strong><\/a>), claimed that according to TCT News, the Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma, killed more than 500 youths in his first tenure.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FINDING:\u00a0 Over 400 deaths through violence were <\/strong>recorded<\/strong><\/a> in Imo between Jan. 2019 and Dec. 2021. In the first quarter of 2022, more than <\/strong>25 fatalities<\/strong><\/a> were recorded. There was insufficient evidence to prove the number of youth fatalities within Uzodinma\u2019s first term; however, no death reports were attributed to him. There is also no news platform called TCT News.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
