The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=1189617482446155\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video<\/a>, which has garnered 1400 views and 79 likes, had comments like, \u201cThanks for sharing, dear,\u201d from followers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Considering the post\u2019s virality and its implication on public health, DUBAWA sought to verify it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Verification<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Can coconut water and bitter leaf juice cure kidney, liver disease and low sperm count? <\/strong><strong>What research says:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">According to Jo Williams, a registered nutritionist, in an article titled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/howto\/guide\/health-benefits-coconut-water\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The benefits of coconut water<\/a>,\u201d states that research on animals suggests that coconut water contains compounds that have protective antioxidants known as phytonutrients, which benefit animals, ranging from decreased cholesterol markers to improved liver health.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Williams, however, warns: \u201cIf you have renal failure or kidney condition that requires you to manage your potassium intake, it may not be a regular source of hydration.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC5636238\/#:~:text=This%20plant%20contains%20complex%20active,problems%2C%20and%20stomach%20discomfort5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">study<\/a> found that the bitter leaf used in experimental animals could be used in managing diabetes mellitus.
