Full Text A Liberian Facebook user, Amb R Van Ross, shared a letter claiming that the government of Swaziland, now called Eswatini, is calling for applications for new male citizens. The call for application purportedly aims to solve what is alleged to be the shortage of men in Eswatini. The call also targeted Southern African nations. The letter quoted the monarch of Eswatini, formerly called Swaziland, as saying, \u201cI, King Mswati III, the King of Swaziland, invite citizens from Southern African Nations to apply for nationality in my land. Therefore, here\u2019s the deal: marry at least five wives, and you\u2019re assured that my government will pay for the marriage ceremonies and buy houses for you.\u201d The post has attracted some reactions and engagement.
