However, The Scrutiny<\/a> published a report on June 3, 2024, claiming that the CBN plans to revoke the licences of Unity, Keystone, and Polaris Bank. The news outlet also posted the report<\/a> via its X handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the sensitivity of the report, DUBAWA decided to verify it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DUBAWA conducted a Google search to verify the claim, but no credible media outlet has published a report corroborating it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went further to check the official X page of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)<\/a> to confirm the assertion and found no statement or post validating the claim. Instead, a debunked report was seen where the claim was crossed as \u201cFake content\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
