In the video, the market women could be heard singing a song insulting Obaseki.\u00a0 The video was published with the impression that the protest took place on Sunday, Sept 22 amid the ongoing announcement of the 2024 Edo governorship election results by INEC. This video has also been found on Facebook as seen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/v\/1uXcqtMbrxJneFxN\/?mibextid=xfxF2i\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/v\/xomKFFGzktsYbgs4\/?mibextid=D5vuiz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/FihghjX4iP8tzCZb\/?mibextid=xfxF2i\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FINDINGS: <\/strong>Checks by NFC revealed that the video is not recent and has been online since February 2023. Although NFC couldn\u2019t ascertain the accurate context of the video, it was posted on YouTube by @EdoChannelTV on February 15, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>VERDICT: <\/strong>INCORRECT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SOURCES: <\/strong>OSINT, Google, and YouTube.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Checks by NFC revealed that the video is not recent and has been online since February 2023.
