As the 2024 fiscal year draws closer, the Government of Liberia reportedly struggles to meet certain budgetary commitments, particularly for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions like the Monrovia Vocational Training Center (MVTC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This situation has led to protests and go-slow actions by lecturers and students,<\/a> urging the Boakai administration to address the issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amid these events, Martin Kollie accused the government of allocating only $4,000 to MVTC while supposedly allotting $1.8 million to celebrations in the President’s budget. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
