A Facebook<\/a> user, Ye Maung<\/a>, shared a post suggesting that Hollywood actor and filmmaker Sylvester Stallone has been confirmed dead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Facebook user, in a post shared on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, wrote, \u201c09:09:35 Hollywood announced about the Legendary actor Sylvester Stallone, He has been confirmed as\u2026 Read more\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caption of this post was incomplete, with a read-more that led nowhere. Although this didn’t outrightly state the actor is dead, the image of the actor and other accompanying images suggests he is dead.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, it has gained two comments and one repost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DUBAWA decided to verify the post due to the post\u2019s sensitivity and the personality involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verification<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A Google keyword search on the veracity of the incident led us to multiple disclaimer reports published in July 2024, when the news of the alleged death of the Rambo actor went viral. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TheDirect<\/a> debunked the actor\u2019s death on July 25, 2024, described the rumour as unsubstantiated, and stated there had been no official announcement of Sylvester’s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 26, 2024, Yentertainment<\/a> published a disclaimer dismissing the Expendables actor\u2019s death as false.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hollywood star\u2019s official Instagram<\/a> handle does not show any announcement of his death. His last post, made on Dec. 26, 2024, six days after the claim, suggests that the actor is still alive as his account is still active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of the time of filing this report, there is no official report of the actor’s death by any credible media outlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
