She received this award during the 2025 Global Excellence Summit for her contributions to gender equality through journalism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event<\/a>, themed \u201cGlobal Excellence in Diplomacy and Leadership: Africa\u2019s Path to Prosperity,\u201d celebrated visionary individuals shaping the future through impactful leadership, innovative achievements, and social transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Reacting to this win, she appreciated the organisers and recognised other talented African journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI am honoured to have received the award. The recognition shows that we should not be afraid to express our convictions and amplify the stories of women and girls in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goal of gender equality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Simbiat\u2019s impressive work extends beyond this achievement.
