The Sixth Judicial Circuit Court on August 13, 2025, issued a Writ of Possession against the Congress for Democratic Change to evict them from the premises of a private property they occupied and used as the party\u2019s headquarters. The eviction notice from the court mandated that the Liberia National Police enforce the order in keeping with the law. The Intestate Estate of Martha Stubberfield Bernard took the matter to court on the grounds of recovering possession of real estate property. The report can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The property, which the CDC has occupied for more than ten years, sparked public reactions on social media. In the heat of the mixed responses, Rep. Frank Saah Foko, a staunch member of the CDC, took to Facebook, claiming that the CDC has acquired a new home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foko appreciated ex-President George Weah (political leader of the CDC)  for his hard work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The post said, \u201cThank you, Papa Leader George Weah, for our new home. This is how you take your demons by surprise. Cdcians, get ready for a nationwide thank-you tour.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DUBAWA contacted Rep. Foko via WhatsApp to inquire about the location of the CDC\u2019s new home. In response, Foko told DUBAWA in a call that the images posted on his official Facebook page have not been constructed on site. He said the photos are blueprints crafted to be built in the future. He also confirmed that the CDC has already acquired the land in Congo Town for the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe building I posted has not been built yet. It is not stationed in a place right now. It is the CDC’s future home. It will be constructed in Congo Town,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further verification using Illuminatary<\/a> shows that the image is not AI-generated but a real image modified using advanced software.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
