The user claimed the street is located in Balogun Market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShet!!! Balogun market,\u201d the X user wrote alongside the video.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, the post has accumulated more than 67,000 views, 500 likes, 200 reposts, 50 bookmarks, and 20 quotes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While some X users commented on the post, believing it, others dismissed it as untrue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis market was so neat. What happened? The government should go there and arrest those dumping things there,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Nithsmit\/status\/1955750804599492884?t=MSC_oDhCIHmFGKmKYR2XuQ&amp;s=19\">@Nithsmit<\/a> suggested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another user, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/youmustbegood11\/status\/1955627424995053604?t=3wfpPW60wFREP268jg7xgQ&amp;s=19\">Blast<\/a>, wrote, &#8220;As an Igbo man, stop having any form of contact with these yaribaboons, they&#8217;re infectious in nature.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In opposition, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/aibyetuk64\/status\/1955793820836356131?t=x81KUdq9O9Le6F9daBfOwQ&amp;s=19\">@Aibyetuk64<\/a> said, \u201cThis can&#8217;t be Lagos.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DUBAWA decided to trace the origin of the video, given the massive engagement accumulated and ethnic animosity portrayed in the comment section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Verification<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DUBAWA took multiple screenshots of the video and subjected them to Google Reverse Image Search for related posts. The result led to similar posts, linking the video to Pipeline Estate in Nairobi, Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An X <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KenyanSays\/status\/1949368286174495058?t=ukvgwZE7UpjKS58On98t4w&amp;s=19\">post<\/a> shared by a Kenyan blogger (as seen in his bio) in July 2025 featured the same video with the caption, \u201cPipeline Nairobi.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further search also led us to a similar video, shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/vt.tiktok.com\/ZSALvaKxg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TikTok<\/a> around July, as traced in the comment section, with a tag suggesting the place as Pipeline Estate in Nairobi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investigating further, DUBAWA noticed that the claimant video has a watermark of an Instagram page \u201cBenard-Martin 1.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A search with the name led us to the original video uploaded on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DM0mHqjNWK3\/?igsh=bGIxcXAxOGQxcGF1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a> on Aug. 1, 2025.
