A viral Facebook post from a user identified as Zima Zika alleges that popular online personalities Peller and Jarvis are expecting a baby. The post, accompanied by a photo showing Jarvis with a large pregnancy, has been widely shared, accompanied by congratulatory comments from unsuspecting followers.

DUBAWA decided to fact-check this as part of its mandate to amplify the truth and limit the spread of fake information in the media.

Verification

DUBAWA checked the official social media pages of Jarvis and Peller and found out that none of their recent photos or videos depict Jarvis as pregnant. Her latest appearances portray her normal figure without any visible signs of pregnancy. See here, a video she made with the caption “Yesterday way” at a nightclub. The video was posted around the same time the claim was made, and no significant pregnancy, like the one depicted in the picture, was visible.

There are also no official announcements or statements from either Peller or Jarvis confirming such news. The claim appears to be fabricated for the purpose of gaining attention and social media engagement.

DUBAWA also subjected the viral image to AI image detection tools, revealing clear signs that the picture was likely generated by AI, with 94% AI-generated features, evident in texture inconsistencies, lighting, and background distortion.

Conclusion

The viral photo and accompanying claim that Peller and Jarvis are expecting a child are false. The image was created using artificial intelligence and does not represent a real event.
