Last year, Davido\u2019s hopes rested on the sleek, R&B-infused Afrobeats anthem “Sensational.” A collaboration with American superstar Chris Brown and fellow Nigerian breakout Lojay, the track was a masterclass in cross-continental appeal. Evidence from the Grammys<\/a> and Forbes<\/a> shows that Davido did not win a Grammy for his nomination; instead, Tyla, a South African singer, won the award at the 68th Grammy Ceremony for the second time since her debut album \u201cWater.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
