Representative Frank Foko <\/a>has accused the NEC of permitting more people to vote in the 2023 elections who did not register to vote. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the district number 9 lawmaker, Nimba County, for instance, has been good to the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), but said the party knows that the 2023 election was rigged by the commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foko asked, \u201cHow can you register a certain number of people during the registration process, and you have more people voting than the number that registered?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CDC lawmaker said former President George Weah is a man of peace, and therefore handed over power to the Unity Party (UP) without protest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He can be heard from 2:06 to 2:24 in a recent media engagement<\/a> in Nimba County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As shown in the final registered figures per county, 307,254<\/a> Nimbians registered to vote in the 2023 elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of that number, a total of 198,900<\/a> voted in the runoff election, while 248,352<\/a> voted in the presidential election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
