A Facebook page, Biafrans Views Page<\/a>, posted a video showing stacks of money kept in a room. The video\u2019s caption read, \u201cWelcome to b@ndits bank. This is Nigeria, where the terrorists are richer than the country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of March 23, 2026, the video had 141,000 views, 152 comments, over 700 likes, and 75 shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some comments under the post show that while some users believed the claim, others doubted that the video was from Nigeria and questioned its authenticity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real BC said, \u201cWhat is the difference between the country and the terrorist?\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Khadijah Haruna Ardido stated, \u201cI learnt former CBN Gov returned the sum of trillions, more bandits to be dealt with in the country.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rey Kizz Bgxon, however, disputed the claim, noting the currency is that of South Sudan. He wrote, \u201cCurrency of our country, South Sudan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DUBAWA submitted screenshots of the video to Google Reverse Image Search and found that the video was posted by a Facebook user named Video of Juba on March 10, 2026. The video’s caption read, \u201cIs South Sudan\u2019s Pound finally losing value?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A closer look at one of the currencies in the video shows that it is not Nigerian currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
