A Facebook user, Osuchukwu Jane Ezeakolam, has deleted her post<\/a> after DUBAWA\u2019s fact-check<\/a>. DUBAWA observed that the post was no longer available when we checked again a month later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Jan. 29, 2026, Jane Ezeakolam shared an image of a pregnant woman (archived here<\/a>) to show how pregnancy changes a person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She wrote, \u201cFor a woman to look disfigured during pregnancy, it\u2019s the quality of the man\u2019s sperm \u2026. Men put our body through a lot of horrors \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comment section was filled with users who agreed, questioned, and disagreed with the claim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to scientific studies, sperm does not cause physical changes, such as the enlargement of a woman\u2019s nose during pregnancy. Although scientific evidence and expert opinions show that poor sperm quality can affect fertility outcomes, it does not directly impact a woman\u2019s body or physical appearance during pregnancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
