The Australian government has taken a firm stance against Iran in the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, reinforcing its alignment with the United States and Israel while condemning Tehran\u2019s destabilising actions across the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that Australia would not support the Iranian<\/a> government under any circumstances, citing Tehran\u2019s \u201clong record of destabilisation through ballistic missile programs, nuclear ambitions, and sponsorship of armed proxies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a joint-statement<\/a>, the Australian government has taken sides with the U.S against Iran, stating that they will do what they can \u201cto prevent Iran from threatening international peace and security.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondly, our further search revealed that the report has been taken out of context. According to Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs<\/a> Penny Wong, $50 million in humanitarian aid was provided to Afghanistan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
