The Qatari government\u2019s decision to give a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet to the United States in May 2025 ignited both diplomatic praise and constitutional controversy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft, valued at nearly $400<\/a> million, was formally presented in 2025 and accepted by President Donald Trump, who described the gesture as a symbol of \u201cstrong friendship and partnership\u201d between the two nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a popular Facebook page, TechTimes<\/strong><\/a>, alleged that the Qatari government has made an official request for the Boeing 747-8 jet gifted to the U.S. government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The majority of followers believed that the claim is true. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We verified the claim on the website of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/a> but found no evidence to support it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also verified the claim on the Qatari Ministry of Information’s website<\/a>, but there is no evidence to support it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
