It presents its message in the form of breaking news&#8230; a tactic not obscure to trained eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, after speaking with the Minister of State, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.premiumtimesng.com\/news\/top-news\/386750-how-fire-gutted-nigerias-treasury-house-minister.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Premium Times<\/a> identified the cause of the fire as an electric spark earlier on April 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">So, back to the image; on first glance, a straightforward verdict is evident- FALSE. Because the picture carries the watermark of a meme making website, its foundation is baseless at best. Further, the site also has an app which provides users with a template of a news frame; thereby, making it easier for anyone to break the news at their leisure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Also, it seems this is not this site&#8217;s first rodeo; as it has further contributed to the wave of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/dubawa.org\/dir\/tales-from-lockdown-russia-did-not-use-500-lions-or-tigers\/\" target=\"_blank\">misinformation<\/a> surrounding the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/dubawa.org\/dir\/cocaine-does-not-cure-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\">pandemic<\/a> on several occasions in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/dubawa.org\/dir\/sex-will-not-kill-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\">past<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Moreover, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba &#8211; the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning &#8211; already <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.premiumtimesng.com\/news\/top-news\/386750-how-fire-gutted-nigerias-treasury-house-minister.html\">said<\/a> that the agency did not lose any data to the fire.
