The&nbsp; image is from Chanuman District in Thailand and was shared in September 2019 by a Thai based News site and Government Organization.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Full text<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">A twitter user, <strong>Jubril of Sudan till 2023, <\/strong>with the username, <strong>@Gen_Buhar<\/strong> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Gen_Buhar\/status\/1303395850962563072?s=20\" target=\"_blank\">claims<\/a> a photo he shared with the caption: <strong><em>\u201cToday in Abia state, Wind blow away Road.&nbsp;Wetin Uche no go see.&#x1f441;\u201d<\/em><\/strong> was that of a deteriorated tarred road in Abia State, Nigeria. The tweet attracted over 227 tweets, 109 comments, and 323 likes and also shared by another Another Twitter user, Clifford Odimegwu, with the username @CliffordOdimegwu <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Gen_Buhar\/status\/1303395850962563072?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">retweeted <\/a>the exact claim and drew 135 comments, 336 retweets, and&nbsp; 323 likes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The claim launched an avalanche of discourses from multiple commentators with some expressing dismay while others think the claim is&nbsp; a ruse.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Omotunde Funke, with the username <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Funkemyfun\/status\/1303562226838786048?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">@Funkemyfun<\/a>, comments, <strong><em>&#8220;Hian&#8230;.what kind of administration is going on in this state, a whole &#8220;God&#8217;s own state&#8221;. It must definitely have been ruled by devil incarnate. ImpClown face This Abia matter is becoming embarrassing. Thinking face&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>A<\/em><\/strong>nother user with a different opinion, Chukwuemeka Onuorah, with the username <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Chukwue33446981\/status\/1303432152533602313?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">@Chukwue33446981<\/a>, opposed. &#8220;<strong><em>Where in aba pls. Thats no where Africa talk more of Nigeria<\/em><\/strong>,&#8221; Chukwuemeka wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Notwithstanding, Dubawa opts to uncover the veracity of this claim, owing to the fact that it is capable of generating citizens\u2019 mistrust and distrust towards constituted authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Verification<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">An analysis of the photo on Invid, an online technology tool for image verification, traced the source of the image to a Thailand-based news site, GBLNEWS&nbsp; where it was first shared on August 31st, 2019 to <a href=\"https:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=en&amp;sl=th&amp;u=https:\/\/th.glbnews.com\/09-2019\/CBMiKWh0dHBzOi8vbmV3\/&amp;prev=search&amp;pto=aue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report <\/a>news on a village road.
