The campaign will roll out to people in English and French across South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, Senegal, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire and DRC&#8221; the press release reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Facebook has been working to connect people to accurate information and reduce misinformation on its platforms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Last month Facebook announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/about.fb.com\/news\/2021\/02\/reaching-billions-of-people-with-covid-19-vaccine-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biggest worldwide campaign<\/a> to promote authoritative information about Covid-19 vaccines<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">This new campaign with the WHO is programmed to show up on Facebook through a series of graphics with tips on how to spot false news.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">A\u00efda Ndiaye, the Public Policy Manager, was quoted in the press release as saying their duty is to ensure users get the right information about COVID-19 vaccines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEnsuring users are getting authoritative information about Covid-19 vaccines is just some of the vital work we\u2019re doing here at Facebook.
