On the 29th of June, the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, during a press conference revealed that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been located and brought back to Nigeria to face trial for terrorism<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Justice Minister said Kanu went missing when he jumped bail granted to him by Justice Nyako in late 2017 on an 11 count charge bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, managing an unlawful society, publication of defamatory matter, illegal possession of firearms and improper importation of goods among others<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malami, who added that Kanu was apprehended on Sunday June 27th 2021, did not say where Kanu was extradited from. Although, officials of the British government have said he was not arrested in the UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, several versions have emerged on how the federal government was able to arrest the IPOB leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of such is a post by Sojworldnews<\/a> where some pictures and video were posted and claimed as that of a lady used by the federal government as bait to arrest Nnamdi Kanu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the three minutes video, the half cald lady was seen on a bed with a man deemed to be Nnamdi Kanu getting intimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Yandex reverse image search of the pictures and video and the search led to various links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of such is a post by Lindaikejiblog<\/a> on the  April 11 2019 tagged \u201cHalf naked video of Biafran leader Nnamdi Kanu in bed with a woman believed to be his wife surfaces online\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another post discovered was that of naijalivetv<\/a> on April 12, 2019 tagged \u2018Just imagine\u2026. Leaked video of Nnamdi Kanu and his wife naked\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further research by this researcher also revealed a reaction of the IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu to the post<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nnamdi Kanu had in a Twitter post reacted saying the lady in the video and pictures with him is that of his wife, Uchechi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
