A social media platform, “Edvidence TV,” claimed that since President Joseph Boakai was elected, Civil Servants’ salaries have not been delayed. 

“Since JNB became President, civil servants’ salaries have not been delayed.”

Research conducted by DUWABA shows that the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning issued a statement announcing a temporary delay in salary payments due to a system upgrade. The release is dated October 17, 2025. 

Several news outlets, including SPOON TV LIVE, The News Newspaper, and Verity News, published the release.

The Ministry of Finance is the fiscal arm of the Liberian government. 

Conclusion:

Based on the Ministry of Finance’s release and publications from various news outlets, Evidence TV’s claim is false.
