A Facebook user, James Johnson, during a live social media feed, claimed that the former Liberian President Charles D.B. King was the 16th President of the country.
He made the claim in the first minute of the live feed.
“This place (Royesville) was established in the early 19th century as a holding ground for repatriated slaves, and in 1921, Liberia’s 16th president, Charles Dunbar Burgess King, upgraded this place from a settlement to a township.”
Johnson is a staunch supporter of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change, headed by football legend and former President George Manneh Weah.
He currently works for Voice of D17 89.9. His live feed generated 59 likes, 32 shares and four comments.
