A Facebook page, Bobi Wine for president, claims that Donald Trump warmly welcomed Bobi’s family in the United States. Let’s show some love to Trump followMøney Hūnter.
The claim is accompanied by an image showing United States President Donald Trump standing on an airport tarmac, shaking hands with a tall Black man descending from a white aircraft bearing the United States flag. Behind him are two women and security personnel. A black limousine with the American flag is also seen in the background. The image suggests that Trump personally received Bobi’s family during an official visit to the United States. It was also posted here.
The post has attracted reactions from social media users, with some praising Trump and others questioning the image’s authenticity. Due to the potential misinformation of the claim, DUBAWA conducted a verification to determine whether the image is genuine.
Verification
DUBAWA first manually verified the picture and found the following. Beyond the detection result, further checks revealed several red flags:
1. Aircraft Design Inconsistency:
The aircraft in the image is labelled ‘United States,’ but it does not match the official design of Air Force One or any other known U.S. government aircraft. The structure looks more like a private jet.
2. Unnatural Visual Details:
The lighting appears overly smooth and uniform. Some facial features and body proportions look slightly artificial upon closer examination, a common sign of AI-generated images.
3. No Credible News Coverage:
A search across reputable news platforms found no report of Donald Trump welcoming Bobi’s family in the manner shown. Major diplomatic visits involving former or current U.S. presidents are typically widely reported.
4. Social Media Caption Style:
The caption includes promotional wording “let’s show some love to Trump followMøney Hūnter,” which suggests the post may have been created for engagement or page promotion rather than to share verified information.
Given these findings, there is no credible evidence that such an event took place. The researcher then analysed the image using the AI image detection tool Decopy AI. The result showed that the image is 100% likely to be AI-generated, with a 0% probability of being a real photograph. The detection clearly stated that the image is AI-generated.

Conclusion
The claim that Donald Trump warmly welcomed Bobi’s family in the United States is false. DUBAWA’s verification confirms that the image attached to the claim is AI-generated. There is no reliable evidence or credible news report to support the event described in the post.
