Sierra Leone’s rising Afrobeat star, Legacy Boii, has captured attention with his latest single, “Free Me,” a raw and emotional track that blends infectious rhythms with deeply personal lyrics about inner struggles and liberation.

The song is quickly gaining traction on TikTok and streaming platforms, resonating strongly with young audiences.

Last year, he broke through the country’s music industry with his popular track “Money Necessary.”

However, a Facebook blogger, Sow blogger, alleged that Legacy Boii has been signed by Don Jazzy under Marvins Record on a one-year deal worth $12,000.

The claim reads in part: “Don Jazzy has officially signed Hamzanito & Legacy Boy under Mavin Records with a one-year management deal.”

A similar claim is found here. The majority of the followers believed the claim to be true.
