Full Text

The Qatari government’s decision to give a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet to the United States in May 2025 ignited both diplomatic praise and constitutional controversy.

The aircraft, valued at nearly $400 million, was formally presented in 2025 and accepted by President Donald Trump, who described the gesture as a symbol of “strong friendship and partnership” between the two nations.

However, a popular Facebook page, TechTimes, alleged that the Qatari government has made an official request for the Boeing 747-8 jet gifted to the U.S. government.
