According to a report by a Spanish newspaper, Marca, Real Madrid has identified Enzo Fernández as a primary target for the upcoming transfer window.

Real Madrid’s hierarchy is said to believe that Fernández possesses the exact passing range and vision needed to dictate play in Madrid’s star-studded midfield.

A Spanish journalist, Miguel “Látigo” Serrano, said the deal refers to a personal agreement between Real Madrid and Fernández, not a transfer agreement between the two clubs.

However, a popular Facebook page, Fahmi Apryna, claimed that Real Madrid has signed Enzo Fernández for £110 million. This figure also conflicts with Chelsea’s reported valuation of £120 million, according to ESPN. (Archived)

DUBAWA decided to fact-check it due to its potential to mislead the public.

Verification:

A Google keyword search found no credible evidence to support the claim. As of May 29, 2026, ESPN reported that Chelsea was valuing Fernández at £120 million and expected the player to report for preseason training.

Evidence from Marca also showed that Real Madrid and Chelsea have not sealed the deal for the player.

A check of Real Madrid’s official news website found no announcement of a completed transfer for Fernández. Further check of Chelsea’s official news website also found no confirmation of a transfer agreement.”

Conclusion

DUBAWA’s investigation confirms that Real Madrid has reached a personal agreement with Enzo Fernández, but it’s long away from an official signing with the potential of a deal still possible. No transfer fee has been paid, and no formal agreement between the two clubs has been announced.
