Manchester City’s official website continues to identify Rodri as a Manchester City player. The club’s recent team news and reports continue to feature him as part of the squad.
Real Madrid’s official website has also reported on Rodri recently, but its publication concerned his inclusion in FIFA’s 2026 World Cup Best XI alongside Real Madrid players such as Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé. The publication does not announce Rodri as a Real Madrid signing.
More importantly, Football fans have relied on Fabrizio Romano for transfer reporting over the years, and given that the claim had his name at the top of the picture used by the claimant, DUBAWA reviewed his official handle, but he had not reported any such transfer news.
