Liberia Petroleum Refining Company Managing Director, Amos Tweh, alleged that the agreement for the construction of the two separate overhead bridges in Congo Town was signed during Sirleaf’s regime.
He made the claim during the Concerned Intellectual Forum. His remark was carried live on social media by OK FM and DN News Liberia. The LPRC Boss made the claim at 1:45 minutes in the video.

Our researcher visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website and accessed the official publication regarding the signing of the agreement for the construction of the two overhead bridges in Congo Town.
“The Government of the Republic of Liberia and the People’s Republic of China have signed an Agreement for the construction of two Separate overhead bridges in Congo town, outside Monrovia,” the release said in part.
According to the publication, the agreement for the project was signed during the regime of former President George Manneh Weah in September 2019.
