On Thursday, April 23, 2026, an online blog posted a couple of images, claiming they are from Liberia.

In the images, assorted cooked food is scattered on the sandy ground, with some onlookers trying to salvage it while others idled by.

The blog claims the incident occurred in Todee district, Montserrado County, after the vehicle carrying the food was involved in an accident.

“Today, in Todee district, the vehicle carrying the food to the venue had an accident, and every meal was wasted, breaking plates, spoons, and takeaway plates all got broken.”

The post generated about 1.3k views, 290 comments, and 28 shares as of the time of this report.

To promote truth in the information ecosystem, DUBAWA verified the information.

Verification

DUBAWA reversed the images on Google images and found that they had existed for a long while prior to the time the blog made the most.

On Friday, April 10, 2026, over a week before Yekeh Kolubah’s post, a Facebook user from Lagos, Nigeria, made a post with a video of the incident’s scene.

Also, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, a day before the blog post, another Facebook user had posted one of the images Yekeh had posted.

Conclusion

Based on DUBAWA’s findings, therefore, Yekeh Kolubah’s post about images of spilt food is not from Liberia.
