OlaXash deactivates TikTok account after DUBAWA’s investigation, as EFCC keeps mum

A few days after DUBAWA released an investigation exposing the illicit trade of charms for fraudsters on TikTok, DUBAWA can confirm that OlaXash has deactivated her main TikTok account.

The investigation, accompanied by an 11-minute documentary, revealed how Ogunsona Victoria (Aphrodisiacs by OlaXash) amassed a fortune by marketing spiritual charms, such as Oshole and Ghost Client Soap, to internet fraudsters on TikTok and Instagram.

Evidence gathered during the investigation revealed that her services are targeted at a criminal demographic, promising them success in their fraudulent ventures. The exposé also showed how OlaXash’s activities violate several Nigerian laws by aiding and abetting crime.

Following the investigation, DUBAWA summarised key takeaways to draw public attention to the report’s most critical points. The summary stressed the trade’s damage to Nigeria’s global reputation and the normalisation of criminality among the youth.

As of Sept. 23, 2025, DUBAWA discovered that her main TikTok page, @olaxash3, is no longer accessible on TikTok. At the time, the account gained over 16,700 followers and 129,300 likes.

EFCC yet to react

Despite the clear legal violations in the report, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has yet to issue an official statement or announce any investigation into OlaXash’s activities. Before the publication, DUBAWA submitted all relevant evidence to the commission on Sept. 4, 2025. We also updated Dele Oyewale, the Commission’s spokesperson, via calls and WhatsApp after the publication.

As of Sept. 25, 2025, the Commission has yet to react to our findings.

The silence from the nation’s anti-graft agency raises concerns about law and order in Nigeria, as many of the identified vendors still trade without caution. The indecision raises concerns about the commission’s inability to ensure that crimes will not go unpunished, even if perpetrators remain hidden from public view.
