
It’s time to make an impact!
Dubawa is calling on change makers to volunteer for it’s Media and Information Literacy Outreach dubbed #WeekforTruth. Volunteers are invited to join Dubawa’s nationwide campaign to educate students and youth corp members on Media and Information Literacy and basic fact-checking.
If you are passionate about media literacy, interested in learning, and willing to share your knowledge, then this call is for you.
Eligibility and Expectation
To be a volunteer, you must:
- Be resident in Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, or The Gambia.
- Be willing to undergo online training if selected.
- Be willing to visit a senior high school (preferably an alma mater) in your resident country to sensitize and educate students on media and information literacy and fact-checking.
- Be available for the ‘‘Week for Truth’’ campaign in the last week of October.
- Understand the use of social media.
- Have good communication skills.
