The CJID Election Information Observatory was created to confront this challenge by providing a real-time, data-driven view of the information ecosystem surrounding the Côte d’Ivoire elections. Through its Digital Election Disinformation Observatory Dashboard, the platform tracks, analyses, and visualises emerging narratives, misleading claims, and other election-related information trends as they unfold.

By transforming verified data into actionable insights, the Observatory helps citizens, journalists, and stakeholders identify and respond to harmful content early, strengthening transparency, promoting accurate reporting, and supporting peaceful and credible elections in Côte d’Ivoire.
