Claim 3: In Sinoe County, Tuzonburg public school in district #2, elections have been temporarily postponed due to the ballot papers drowning in a creek while being transported by the electoral supervisors(s) – according to viral reports.

Verdict: Mostly true
Findings
A local journalist in Sinoe County, Augustine Sokan, told DUBAWA in a telephone conversation at 10:46 a.m. that voting had not yet commenced in the county due to the late arrival of voting materials. He mentioned, however, that he was unaware of elections being postponed in the county.
“Yes, it is true that voting is not taking place currently at Tuzonburg public school in district #2, Sinoe County because the ballot papers got wet,” Sokan told DUBAWA.
Mr Henry Flomo, the Director of Communications at NEC also told DUBAWA there are ‘issues’ at the county but voting will commence once they are resolved. Additionally, Mr Prince Dunbar, Deputy Communications Director at the NEC said the chairperson of the NEC will address the claim by 4 p.m. today.
