Verity Online News claimed that Montserrado County Senator Saah Joseph has promised a holiday for Muslims if elected President in 2029.
The Online News Network made the claim on March 23, 2026, on their official social media page.
The post generated 1.1k likes, 622 comments and 68 shares. Another online media institution, Montserrado Media Inc., made the same claim.

Our researcher contacted the journalist, Emmanuel M. Kangar Jr., who wrote the story, to provide the source of the Senator’s remark. He has since refused to respond to the inquiry. The researcher also contacted Senator Saah Joseph, and he denied the allegation.

The researcher also monitored other credible media platforms to see if any such news item had been reported, but found none.
