An online blog, Shine Liberia, in a Facebook post, alleged that Peter Bonor Jallah has been released from prison.

Peter Bonor Jallah, a suspended NSA agent who stands accused of sodomizing a teenager, was later sent to jail at the Monrovia Central Prison. The post by the online blog generated 109 likes, 61 comments, and 1 share.
Also, a social media user, Darius Doe, posted a short video of Spoon FM CEO, Stanton Witherspoon, making the same claim.
DUBAWA decided to conduct a fact-check of the claim as part of its mandate to counter misinformation and disinformation, and to promote truth-telling in public discourse.
Verification
Our researcher contacted the claimant to request evidence to support the claim, but the claimant refused to respond.
The researcher also contacted the Ministry of Justice through the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Jutonu Y. Kollie, who denied the claim made by the online blog. Jutonu also provided a statement from the Ministry of Justice, clarifying the alleged release of Peter Bonor Jallah.

Conclusion
Based on the official response from the Director of Press and Public Affairs at the Ministry of Justice, Jutonu Kollie, the claim made by the online blog is false.
