Former Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Public Works, Jefferson Chesson, claimed that Naymote’s President Meter report covers over two years of the Unity Party’s governance.

Mr Chesson made the claim in a social media post on January 13, 2026. The Naymote President Meter report tracks the ARREST Agenda launched by President Joseph Boakai. 

The President Meter report on the AAID answers questions like “Is the AAID being fully implemented, or is it poised to become another blueprint of good intention left unrealised?

Naymote Partners for Democratic Development is a civil society organisation established in 2001 to promote democracy, peacebuilding, human rights, and civic engagement in Liberia.

DUBAWA decided to conduct a fact-check of the claim to promote truth and accuracy in public discourse. 

Verification

Our researcher first visited the official website of Naymote and the President Meter Report released on January 13, 2026.

According to the inaugural President Meter Report, it covers only a year of President Boakai’s ARREST Agenda, launched on January 15, 2025.

Also, our researcher contacted Naymote’s Executive Director, Eddie Jarwolo, who confirmed that the report covers a one-year period from January to December 2025.

Conclusion

Based on the official report from Naymote’s website and confirmation from its Executive Director, the claim made by Jefferson Chesson is false.
