Verdict: Misleading. The National Elections Commission (NEC) is yet to announce any winners in the Nimba election.
Conclusion
The NEC announced April 28th as the date it will announce the winner of the Nimba by-election.
It has not made any announcement saying the MDR/UP-back Samuel Kogar won, nor has any of the three candidates, Edith Weh, Garrison Yealue, and Mack Gblinwon, backed by the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC).
None of the seven candidates in the election has been declared a winner yet.
