Full Text
Yeakeh Sayequee, a former Representative candidate in the 2023 Presidential and Legislative Elections, particularly in Montserrado district#10, has been accused of double-dipping.
In 2023, he registered and voted in District #10, according to an official report from the NEC, the country’s electoral body.
By law, Yeakeh is not eligible to vote in the Nimba by-election since NEC captured him as a resident of Montserrado dist#10 during the 2023 elections.
Findings
To verify the claim above, DUBAWA contacted the claimant for a photo or video evidence of Yeakeh voting in Bunadin, but the claimant did not provide an answer.

The claimant also did not mention which specific station in Nimba the voting took place, so the fact-checkers could not independently verify.
Furthermore, the researchers contacted the accused Yeakeh Sayequee via WhatsApp to ascertain his whereabouts and respond to the allegations. He said, “This is a nonsense allegation.” Sayequee added, “Check my page, I was live three hours ago in Monrovia.”
