What is the Liberia National Police?

The Liberia National Police (LNP) is a premier law enforcement institution in the Republic of Liberia responsible for protecting lives and property. Its mission is to proactively prevent, detect, and investigate crimes in the country. The vision is to provide an effective, efficient, and professional Police service that is deeply rooted in the community and unwaveringly adheres to the principle of democratic policing, ensuring the protection of democratic values at all times.

DUBAWA thought it necessary to ascertain the facts in this claim because it borders on the country’s national security. Liberia, with over five million citizens and many police personnel, raises some concerns.
