Claim: A user of Facebook posted a video stating that a plane crashed abroad.

Amidst the recent surge of media reports of plane crashes in various places worldwide, a Facebook user named Annandidiezeala Ezeala recently posted that there had been a plane crash abroad.
Ezeala posted a red, white, and blue coloured plane, crashed in muddy water, with fire and smoke billowing, with people believed to be passengers jumping out of it.
The post caption said “na waaoo every day plan crashed na so.”
The post garnered 262,000 engagements, 10,000 comments, and 8,600 shares. Some of the comments claimed it was fake, but the poster insisted that the post was genuine. Others, however, expressed concerns for the lives that were onboard the flight.
Due to the controversial nature of the alleged plane crash and the number of people who engaged with the video, DUBAWA investigated.
Verification
DUBAWA watched the video closely and spotted some inconsistencies. First and foremost, many of those jumping out were passing through a small exit. Somehow, the exit immediately widens and narrows at every blink of an eye.

Also, at the start of the video, almost a dozen people emerged simultaneously from the same narrow exit.
Considering the small size of the exit door, it’s clear that only two people can pass through it at once, let alone the many people who are seen coming out.

DUBAWA also noticed that parts of the plane’s body, the area around the wings, appeared new. However, the area that the pilots had looked at was ancient, dilapidated, and abandoned.
Again, a closer look at some passengers diving into the muddy water shows evidence of a doctored video.
A Google search also indicates that there have been no reports of a plane crash into muddy water.
