A Facebook post from a user named Je Nov, posing as breaking news, claims that Barron Trump has passed away. It reads:

“BREAKING NEWS: Washington D.C., 15 minutes ago — Barron Trump, the 19-year-old son of former President Donald J. Trump, has tragically passed away. Sources close to the Trump family confirmed the heartbreaking news earlier this morning…”

The post includes an image of Barron, Donald Trump, and Melania Trump dressed in black alongside a photo of what appears to be a vehicle crash scene, implying that Barron may have been involved in an accident.

Due to the claim’s viral nature, emotional framing, and use of photos, the post attracted attention and shares on social media. Given the lack of official news coverage or public confirmation, the claim warranted fact-checking.
