A Facebook user, Foday Massaquoi, alleged in a Facebook post that the Unity Party government of former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf left the Exchange Rate at $130 in 2017.

Foday Massaquoi is the chairperson of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change Council of Patriots.
