Verification
The researcher first contacted the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation’s MD to provide detailed clarification of his claim, but he refused to respond to inquiries.
The researcher further reviewed the official publication of the 2025 Global Peace Index, which shows that Liberia currently ranks 70th among 163 peaceful countries in the world.

In 2024, Liberia was ranked 69th among 163 countries.

Liberia obtained a score of 1.939 in 2025, less than the previous year’s score of 2025.
With a drop of 0.086 from its previous score, Liberia fell one step in the world ranking of the most peaceful countries.
The Global Peace Index produced by the Institute for Economics and Peace is the World’s leading measure of global peacefulness.
To make it even clearer, Iceland is ranked the world’s most peaceful country. Conversely, Russia is ranked the least peaceful country, at number 163.
So, if Liberia moves from 69 to 70 in a year, it means the country has declined in the peacefulness index.
Conclusion
Mo Ali’s claim is false based on the interpretation of the Global Peace Index and a comparison of previous reports.
